North Lakes House

North Lakes House

On a small allotment, the clients were after a compact house but with space for a swimming pool, a boat, cars and a high volume of rainwater tanks. The Architect’s solution fulfilled and then exceeded this brief.

The result is resort style living, featuring high ceilings, extensive glazing, pavilions for living and sleeping, integrated with courtyards, verandahs and patios, achieving a home that feels much more spacious than its floor area suggests.

Sandgate House

Sandgate House

Moving out of a classical Queenslander into a smaller modern new home, the client knew she would miss all the unique features of the original leadlight windows, high ceilings, ornate detailing and generous verandahs.

The Architect’s solution provided all these qualities and features, reinterpreting them in a 5-star energy efficient contemporary home with spaces uniquely shaped and sequenced to provide a perfect fit for her living requirements.

Deagon House

A growing family thought they would have to move out to an isolated new housing estate to find the accommodation space they needed.

Engaging our architectural services meant they were able to stay in their established, well serviced Brisbane suburb and transform their rundown cottage into a 5-star energy efficient contemporary Queenslander with separate zones for the family members plus a separate home office.

Hawthorne House

A pre-1946 house in a heritage controlled district, structurally compromised and disguised under successive layers of inappropriate “renovations” was facing an unpromising future.

The house was stripped of all extraneous materials and reduced to its original core. This became the foundation of a contemporary restoration & renovation, in character with this historical precinct, delivering new spaces designed to the specific requirements of a Client with an expansive circle of family and friends.
